Morning Reflection

Today's Reading for the Daily Office (Book of Common Prayer, p. 964)
Psalms 101, 109:1-4(5-19)20-30 (morning) 119:121-144 (evening)
Ezekiel 11:14-25
Hebrews 7:1-17
Luke 10:17-24

Trying to ward off a head cold. Slept in this morning.

And great readings they were. With one of the coolest guys in the Bible making the scene, "King Melchizedek of Salem, priest of the Most High God" "His name, in the first place, means ‘king of righteousness’; next he is also king of Salem, that is, ‘king of peace’. Without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but resembling the Son of God, he remains a priest for ever."(Hebrews 7:1-17).

In today's vernacular, Melchizedek rules!
