The Readings

Today's Readings for the Daily Office
(Book of Common Prayer, p. 977)
Psalms [70], 71 (morning)       74 (evening)
Judges 4:4-23
Acts 1:15-26
Matthew 27:55-66

I have over 100 chigger bites.  Didn't sleep much last night.  Woke in a benadryl haze.  Can't sit still long enough to write a Morning Reflection.  Here are the Daily Office readings.

God's little creatures must love you. Been there - don't ever want to go back.

I'm so sorry for you. You have my prayers and sympathy. I can't imagine having that many chigger bites. I would scratch myself to pieces. I'm sure you have more restraint than I do. You'll have to. good luck. sounds just SO miserable.

O Lord
Make speed to save us
(from chigger bites & scratching)
Make haste to help us. Amen.

Thanks for the empathy.

A new 11th commandment:
Thou shall not scratch the itch.
